From 2–4 June, the LeTs-Care Consortium gathered in Innsbruck for a productive coordination meeting that marked a significant step in the project’s engagement with the broader sector and key stakeholders.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to collect valuable feedback from external advisors, further anchoring the project in real-world relevance and critical reflection. In addition, Consortium members shared updates on their active contributions to the field, including participation in international conferences and the publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Among the key moments of the meeting was a presentation illustrating the condition of migrant care workers in Austria. The talk offered a grounded account of the phenomenon and the tensions that characterise it, sparking an engaging discussion within the Consortium. It represented an important occasion to deepen our understanding of the socio-political dynamics of care work in the Austrian context.
These activities reflect the project’s commitment to fostering dialogue and promoting knowledge exchange across both academic and professional spheres.
