A collaboration protocol has been established between the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto (SCMP) and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP), in a joint effort to deepen knowledge and share best practices in the field of aging.
The protocol linking Misericórdia do Porto and FLUP highlights the common interest in promoting research and innovative practices in the social and health sector.
In this context, the “LeTs-Care” project, locally coordinated by FLUP, stands out, using ethnographic methodologies to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with long-term care. The accumulated experience of Misericórdia do Porto is essential in reinforcing the impact of this joint work, in a context marked by an increasingly aging population.
