Next September 25th, 2025, in Brussels, the LeTs-Care project will host a Policy Lab focused on one of the most pressing issues in long-term care: the sustainability and resilience of the care workforce. Building on the priorities set out in the 2022 EU Care Strategy, the event will explore how to improve working conditions, promote work-life balance, and support both formal and informal carers. Through structured dialogue with EU-level stakeholders, we will validate findings from LeTs-Care, which point to a highly fragmented and uneven workforce landscape across Europe, and co-develop policy directions to support a more robust and equitable care system.
