Professor Da Roit, Principal Investigator of the LeTs-Care Project at the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari, will represent the project at the Workshop on Inequalities and Disabilities organised by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission on 19 November 2024. This one-day, invitation-only event will take place in Brussels.
In recent years, numerous Research & Innovation projects funded under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes have addressed various aspects of disability. This workshop will bring together ongoing and past projects to showcase their results and support their uptake by policymakers and practitioners. It will also identify research gaps to inform future funding opportunities.
Three broad groups of projects have been identified: health, care and disabilities; employment and disabilities; and education and disabilities.
