On 26th June, 2026 the LeTS-Care team at REVES organised the project’s second policy lab.
The lab opened with a challenging question: Senior co‑housing and other collaborative housing models have existed for decades and produced good results. So, why do they struggle to become the normal way of doing things and remain pilot projects?
Speakers from Housing Europe, CSIC – Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, the Community Land Trust Brussels, the University of Porto, NASUVINSA – Government of Navarra, and REVES offered perspectives grounded in practice and research. Their contributions highlighted several policy lessons, addressing topics such as legal recognition, funding structures, involved local and regional actors, and more.
