On May 22, 2025, the first national LeTs-Care workshop was held at the Converge-CSIC space (Madrid), with the participation of the POSEB (Social Policies and Welfare State) group from the Institute of Public Policy and Public Goods (IPP-CSIC).
This meeting brought together representatives from social organizations, public administrations, trade unions, and third sector entities to collectively reflect on the challenges and opportunities of long-term care in Spain.
The aim of the workshop was to share evidence, generate debate, and co-produce knowledge based on the preliminary results of the first phase of the project.
During the day, key issues were addressed, such as care needs, the quality of care and care work, and the specific challenges facing the development of community care models.
